The Bruno Elan is so easy to operate, simply push the armrest paddle in the direction you want to go! The smooth quiet space-saving design of the Bruno Elan features a thin sleek vertical rail and hidden gear rack (most stair lift brands use a horizontal rail with an exposed gear rack, the hidden gear rack reduces exposure to dirt and grease) and is installed close to your wall or banister leaving your more open space on your staircase. And it's important to be compact, so the arms, seat and footrest all fold up when not in use.
Because safety is important your Elan seat swivels up to 90° away from the steps and locks in place at the top of your staircase so you can exit the stair lift safely. The Bruno Elan comes with a retractable seat-belt and obstruction sensors that will immediately halt the stair lift if anything (a shoe, a handbag, a small pet) is in the path of your stair lift.
With the battery-powered operation of the Bruno Elan, your stair lift is dependable even during a power outage and to make sure your batteries are properly charged, the Elan charges continuously no matter where on the rail (top, bottom, or anywhere in the middle) the stair lift is located.
