GOLS Organic or Natural Talalay Latex: The Heart of Every Wholepedic Latex Mattress
Choose the latex that suits you best. Both are natural, both are made from the sap of the rubber tree, and both make a wonderfully supportive latex mattress.
GOLS organic latex. Certified to the Global Organic Latex Standard, which verifies that the latex comes from organically managed rubber plantations and is processed to strict environmental and social standards. GOLS latex has a dense, buoyant, deeply supportive feel. Choose it for a certified organic mattress.
Natural Talalay latex. Made by a process that vacuum-fills the mold and flash-freezes the latex before curing, creating a very consistent, open cell structure. Natural Talalay feels lighter, bouncier and more breathable. Choose it for a soft, airy natural latex mattress.
Either way, there are no springs to sag or squeak and no petroleum-based foams. Every layer is real latex, from top to bottom.

GOTS Organic Cotton and Wool Covering
The latex is wrapped in a soft, breathable organic mattress cover made to the Global Organic Textile Standard.
GOTS organic cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard covers the entire chain, from organically grown fiber through spinning, weaving and finishing, so the fabric touching your skin is grown and processed without harsh chemicals.
Natural wool. A layer of wool batting is quilted beneath the cotton. Wool naturally wicks moisture and regulates temperature, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter, and it acts as a natural fire barrier.
The cover is quilted on both sides and zips completely around the mattress, so the natural latex inside can always breathe.
