Carbon fiber is the same material used in racing bicycles and aircraft, and it gives the Cricket a frame that weighs as little as 33 lbs while still carrying up to 300 lbs. With its lithium battery installed, the complete chair is just 39.3 lbs.
Folded, it measures about 30″ × 22″ × 14″ and can stand upright on its end, so it slips into a car trunk, a coat closet, or a cruise stateroom without a fight.
33 lb weight excludes the removable battery, joystick, cushion and bag.
At 22.5″ wide with a 22″ turning radius, the Cricket moves easily through narrow hallways, around furniture, and right up to the table. Rear-wheel drive and flat-free, non-marking solid tires handle the transition from living room carpet to sidewalk.
The roomy padded seat cushion and breathable mesh back follow the natural curves of your body, so a long afternoon of sightseeing or shopping stays comfortable.
Small conveniences that make the Cricket easier to live with, at home and on the road.
A well-styled controller that makes precise moves like pulling up to a desk simple, and lifts off for transport.
Keep your phone or tablet topped up straight from the chair's battery while you're out.
Armrests swing up and out of the way for easy side transfers to a bed, sofa or car seat.
A thick contoured cushion that lifts out to lighten the chair or to clean.
The Cricket runs on airline-approved 12 AH 24V lithium-ion batteries, so it can travel with you by plane or cruise ship. The off-board charger lets you charge the battery at a hotel desk or bedside outlet without moving the chair.
